Instead of displaying the actual characters you enter, the input mask displays an asterisk character (*) for each character you type. This pre-defined input mask lets you enter sensitive data when prying eyes are out and about. That’s just a quick warning-if you’re working with top-secret data, Access might not be the database for you. Nothing Access offers will deter a determined hacker. Anyone who works extensively with Access knows that it’s weak on security.
